For the sign itself we use 30mil magnetic material made from the strongest, most durable magnetic sheeting you can get, and it's rated to stay put at speeds of up to 85 mph. Each sign has ½" rounded corners all the way around, which keep vehicle surfaces from getting damaged as you put it on or take it off.

Getting the Longest Life and Best Value
Our magnets are made to grip most van surfaces built from ferrous metal (true of most work vans) and to stay securely in place until you take them off. Put them on a flat surface that's clean and dry, and steer clear of molding, badges, rivets, plastic parts, uneven spots and other obstacles. They work best on vans with factory paint; if your van has a custom paint job, test first before you apply one.
Set one edge of the sign against the van where you want it, then let the rest of the sign settle slowly onto the surface until the whole thing is held by the magnet. Not quite where you want it? Lift it off, reposition it and try again. Never tug on an attached sign to straighten it, since that can damage the material, and don't twist it while it's on the van, or you could harm the paint or clear coat.
Once a week, take your magnets off for a few hours so you can clean them and let the van's surface "breathe." Wash them with water, mild soap and a soft cloth.
