The Printing Process
We print PVC signs using a high-quality UV process that delivers high-resolution, photo-sharp clarity with a semi-matte, glare-free finish. Logos, images and photos all reproduce on these signs with true-to-life color and fine detail.
Best Uses
Ideal for indoor signs that need to be light and long-lasting, our custom PVC has a smooth white matte surface that greatly cuts down on glare, reflections, smudges and fingerprints. PVC itself is white, but direct UV printing can cover the entire surface, so your design can be printed as any full-color image, with black, white or any other process color it contains.
Your PVC Sign Questions, Answered
Can PVC be used for outdoor signs?
We don't recommend PVC for printing outdoor signs. That said, it works fine for temporary outdoor displays, such as a sidewalk sign you set out while your business is open and bring back inside at closing time or when it rains.
How thick are your PVC signs?
Our standard 3mm PVC measures about 3/16" thick and is great for signs mounted on a wall. The 6mm PVC is roughly 1/4 inch thick, and its added rigidity makes it a good choice for signs hung from a ceiling.
What kinds of signs work well in PVC?
PVC is a great fit for long-term wall displays and anywhere a professional look matters. Restaurants use it to post daily specials or a full menu, commercial offices use it to show off a company logo, and businesses rely on it for announcements, safety notices, promotional advertising and other information.
