Quick-Turnaround Custom Die-Cut Stickers
We contour-cut our die-cut stickers to follow any simple shape in your artwork, which makes them a natural fit for logos, emblems, mascots and more.
We cut precisely along the outer edge of your design, so every sticker is ready to go on any smooth surface. Want full control over the exact shape? Upload a vector file. Die-cut stickers arrive on vinyl sheets, either as separate pieces or, for smaller sizes, grouped together.
Straight from the printer, our custom die-cut stickers hold up well indoors and in moderate outdoor conditions. Add a clear luster laminate and they'll last up to five years outside, standing up to UV, weather and scratches. That makes them a great choice for windows, sports gear and team branding.

What They're Made Of
We print die-cut stickers on gloss calendered vinyl from 3M, a waterproof, UV-proof material that works indoors and outdoors alike. Its permanent adhesive is strong and grips most standard surfaces very well, so it's classed as non-removable. In practice, the sticker forms a semi-permanent bond with whatever it's applied to, and peeling it off may ruin the sticker, the surface or both. We advise testing the surface before you apply anything; deciding whether it's suitable for a die-cut sticker is the customer's responsibility.
For extra protection, you can have your die-cut stickers finished with intermediate 3M Luster Laminate. It adds UV and water resistance and holds up very well against chemicals, solvents and abrasion. Laminating also helps the inks hold out longer against UV fading, so the colors stay fade-free for as long as 5 years under normal conditions.
How They're Printed
Every laminated die-cut sticker comes off a high-definition eco-solvent printer set to its high-resolution mode. The result is the sharpest possible detail, legible even in 3pt text, with rich color and smooth gradients. With 8 ink colors laid down at a print resolution of 1440 DPI, the colors really pop.
Sizes & Cutting
Unless you ask for something else, each die-cut sticker is contour-cut to the shape of your custom design. To keep production efficient, we print several custom-shape stickers on every sheet. Sizes start at 2 × 2 inches and go up to 12 × 12 inches; give us the height first and then the width, both in inches.
Keep in mind: we can only cut a custom shape when your file includes a vector contour path to cut along. If that path isn't part of your design file, contour cutting can't be done. Preparing Your Files
Before anything is printed, we check every file you upload by hand, and we only move forward with an order when it will come out at a flawless, uncompromising 100% quality.
Large files can be zipped and delivered via any cloud file-sharing service, provided it isn't password protected.
- Bleeds
- Any sticker with a non-standard shape or a contour cut needs bleed. Add 0.125 inch of bleed around every cut path. Custom-cut orders that arrive without bleed will be rejected. Our die-cut file setup guide covers bleed setup in more detail, or you can reach out to us directly.
- JPEG / PNG
- Build the file at the sticker's actual size and 300 dpi in RGB color mode, uncompressed and saved at Photoshop quality level 12.
- PSD / PSB / TIFF
- Build the file at the sticker's actual size and 300 dpi in RGB color mode, then flatten all layers into a single background layer.
- PDF / AI / EPS
- Build the file at the sticker's actual size using RGB or CMYK color mode. Embed every linked image, turn all text into outlines and expand all strokes. Use only high-resolution raster images placed at 50–100% scale. Please don't add a password to the file, and choose PDF export when it's available.
